What Is Residential Deep Cleaning?
Deep cleans take about twice as long as a traditional (routine or regular) cleaning. This means that they are not just cleaning, but scrubbing into all areas of the house. To do this requires either additional cleaning associates, or that individual cleaners spend 2x as much time.
We recommend that if you are doing regular, ongoing professional cleaning that you augment with a deep clean about every 3-6 months. If you have not had your home professionally cleaned before, expect that a deep cleaning will take a little longer than if you had been on a professional cleaning schedule.
Dusting & Disinfecting
Deep cleaning removes the deep grime that gets built up over time on surfaces like tables, counters and shelves. We do this by using soft scrubbers like microfibre towels and hand wiping surfaces. We also disinfect commonly used surfaces.
Kitchens & Bathrooms
The kitchen and bathrooms have the most wet surfaces in the home, tend to get the most use, and by extension get the dirtiest. We can also spend time cleaning inside appliances and cabinets if you need it.
Floor Cleaning
Floors always get cleaned no matter what type of cleaning service you opt for. Our team will thoroughly vacuum all carpet. We also sweep and mop all hard surfaces, leaving the home looking sparkling clean.
What Differences Between Standard And Deep Cleaning?
In a standard cleaning we will ensure that all surfaces are cleaned by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping. However, a deep cleaning will also get the baseboards, window sills, blinds, fans, and where possible lift up the stains and dirt in areas like the tile grout and spend extra time on faucet fixtures and appliances.
